Friday, December 4, 7 PM: FoCP Board Meeting at Rosenberger Hall, University of the Sciences of Philadelphia (at 43rd Street and Woodland Avenue).

Saturday, December 5, 1 PM: Spiral Q Puppet Theater's Peoplehood Pageant has been moved to The Sister Clara Muhammad School (4700 Wyalusing Ave). Come to this FREE event with friends and family to watch a magical, colorful giant puppet performance about moving through these challenging economic times towards new collective, resourceful possibilities. Meet the magnificent puppets that couldn’t come out for the Peoplehood Parade!

And: Everyone is invited to come at 12:00 Noon to learn a role in the pageant. There are plenty of pageant roles still open! Be a bird, a giant dragon, or a house! Everyone is encouraged to come early to learn a part in the pageant. All ages, no experience necessary.

Flea Markets

In 2009, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement will be running a monthly Flea Market from April to October. The scheduled dates include: June 13, July 11, August 8, and October 18. 7 AM to 7 PM (Rain dates are usually the day after.)
